Elizabeth Summerlin
Welcome!
Elizabeth Summerlin is excited to begin her second year at Mill Creek! She graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Geography. She also holds a Master's Degree in History from the University of Georgia, where she completed her teacher certification as well. She did her student teaching at Peachtree Ridge High School, also in Gwinnett County, and has taught undergraduate history courses at the University of Georgia. Mrs. Summerlin is certified to teach History, Geography, Political Science and Economics.
Mrs. Summerlin is a Georgia and Gwinnett County native. She attended Brookwood High School, graduating in 2004. She now lives in Watkinsville with her husband, who works for the University of Georgia. She enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Maggie, and she is an avid sports fan. Her other interests include travel, movies, and television, and is always open to trying new things. She has traveled to Europe twice and plans to go overseas again.

My expectation is that all assignments not finished in class need to be submitted at the beginning of the next class period unless noted otherwise. When not completing unfinished work, every student's homework is to read over/study his or her notes each night. Students are also expected to ask questions when they don't understand class assignments or class materials.
EOCT is Monday and Tuesday May 13th and 14th. Report to computer lab 1.549 (above our classroom in foreign language pod)
